I have done TONS of reading about how to start the rebuild/repair of my credit....
1st i got enough money to pay off what i need to, i am SICK of getting letters/calls and the weight on my shoulders about this...finally i can see some light. so i have reached out to the creditors showing on my credit report, most of my accounts are CC accounts, i have reached what i feel is very good/reasonable settlement aggreements i got all the companies to fax me settlement letters that will release me from any obligation to the debt with the OC (i should also say i have not paid a dime to anyone yet, am i going about this the right way?) with all these account BUT 1 because i didnt like the way this company operated so i am reaching out to the OC to work it out with them (allstate financial, bunch of scum)...now i was reading after I negotiate settlement amount, i read to negotiate my credit rating, i dont undertaand what this means so this is my 1st question, what does this mean? 2nd, after the accounts are settled, do i dispute with the CB's? or do i send DV letters to the OCs? 3rd, When i was employed in the mortgage feild, i had a contact with a company called JumpMyscore.com, they worked wonders for a few clients of my they went after any neg/derogortory mark on my cliets CR and had most of them removed and scores jumped from 60-100 points, they do this constantly for 1 year, and it costs 300 bucks on time fee, is this worth it? Thanks in advance!!!! |

Since you have reached what you feel is very good/reasonable settlement agreement, what are you waiting for? If you do not settle with allstate financial, that is going to be a lead weight holding your score down. It's all or nothing.... My experience in fixing credit - when you settle send a letter to your debtors indicating that to update their information on your credit report. Also disputing directly with the credit bureaus. As for "Jumpstart" - use to work at the Mortgage Zone, they had us push them. Why would you pay some people to fix your credit, when you can do it on your own. Everything you need is on this website!!! ..
